re-mapping the body
Equipped with wireless physiological sensors and thanks to an interactive system developed in collaboration with the Sport Sciences Institute at the University of Lausanne, the Music High School of Geneva, Future instruments and Biopac System Inc., the movements of the dancers are transformed in music creating the sound track of the piece. In a sound âsystemâ developed in association with Christophe Calpini, dancers explore a new relationship with their bodies âaugmentedâ by this possibility of making sound, creating a performance that pulls no punches.
